Ojo Arowosafe, alias Fadeyi Oloro, a veteran Nollywood actor, has died. He died on Tuesday at the age of 66 after a long illness.
Born on September 15, 1957, he gained to notoriety in the 1980s and 1990s for his famous herbalist persona.
Bayegun Oluwatoyin aka Woli Arole, who confirmed his death via his verified Instagram, stated:
“So happy I reached out to you sir, so happy we played our part, so happy we laughed together, so happy we were able to show our support.
“Rest in Peace the Legend “Fadeyi Oloro”. Let’s check up on people when dey is alive, Let’s show love when people can feel, Let’s help when it can be seen”.

Many have wondered how the veteran actor was treated in the ailment leading to his death.
Requesting financial assistance from Nigerians in order to care for his health.
"Nigerians should help me," the ill star reportedly told Sunday Scoop sometime in July 2022. " Money is required for everything I need to be healthy.
"I am getting well with the assistance of others, but I have not entirely healed. That is why I am asking all Nigerians from all walks of life that I have influenced in some manner to assist me."
Fadeyi also stated that, while he does not have adequate assistance, he will not cast aspersions on industry groups. "Everyone has different things they are battling with. I don’t want it to seem like I am insulting members of our association of actors," he explained.
“Though I did not get the kind of support I would have wanted, some individuals called me to greet me once in a while. I don’t blame them because they are going through different things.”
Fadeyi said that the etiology of his ailment was unknown. He stated,
“I really don’t know the nature of the illness.
“However, I intend going for a ‘general test’, so they can ascertain the drugs to give me, instead of just giving me any kind of drugs. If people see me now, they will pity me. I am supposed to go to a hospital in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, but there is no money.”
Regarding the amount required to settle his medical costs, the actor, who frequently plays a local doctor, stated, “I don’t know how much will be needed at the hospital, so I don’t want to give an exact figure. I don’t want people to think I am fraudulent.”
