Lagos, Nigeria – The 23-year-old Chidinma Adetshina has won Miss Universe Nigeria 2024. She had previously pulled out of the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant due to controversy over her nationality on social media.
Miss Rivers State, Miss Anambra State, Miss Ondo State, and Miss Edo State were the four finalists Chidinma defeated to win the coveted title. Chidinma was representing Taraba State.
Path to Victory
November's Miss Universe pageant in Mexico will feature Chidinma representing Nigeria. Miss Anambra, the first runner-up, will compete in the Miss Supranational pageant in the meantime.
Chidinma receives a N10 million grand prize as punishment for winning the title.

The newly crowned beauty queen emphasized her dedication to having a positive influence in her acceptance speech, referring to the title as a call to action.
