Why Victor Osimhen was picked for Drug Test After Super Eagles defeated Indomitable Lions

...

Victor Osimhen's fiery passion and nonstop motor during Nigeria's 2-0 round of 16 victory over Cameroon drew the attention of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for both good and bad reasons, it was previously reported. But an exclusive by Soccernet states that this happened after the Nigeria versus Guinea-Bissau match.

Osimhen was the driving force behind Nigeria's victory, terrorizing Cameroon's defense with unwavering determination. His desperate desire to reclaim possession resulted in a crucial assist, when he robbed a defender and set up Ademola Lookman for the opening goal.

The Napoli striker was a constant threat, chasing every ball like his life depended on it. His incredible stamina and work ethic were critical to Nigeria's success.

However, CAF has raised suspicions about Osimhen's superhuman performance, prompting the 23-year-old to be randomly selected for a drug test following the aforementioned match.

While players are typically chosen at random, Osimhen's tenacious performance prompted CAF to take no risks. His nonstop motor defied normal human limits, prompting the African football governing body to look into any possible doping violations.

Osimhen will hope to demonstrate that his unusual energy levels are entirely natural.

He is currently presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, his aggressive playing style has made him both a hero and a potential villain in the eyes of African football officials.
