LAGOS, NIGERIA – The vibrant coastal mega-city of Lagos is gearing up to host the 16th annual Eko International Film Festival (EKOIFF), a prestigious international event dedicated to celebrating the art and culture of filmmaking. Founded by Hope Obioma Opara, CEO of Supple Communications Limited and publisher of Supple magazine, the inaugural edition of Eko International Film Festival (EKOIFF) was held in 2009. Since then EKOIFF has become a significant platform for showcasing films from around the globe and fostering tourism in Nigeria through the appreciation of motion picture arts and sciences.

This year's milestone edition will run from May 25 - 29, 2026, at the state-of-the-art VIVA Cinemas located at Jara Mall, Ikeja, Lagos.
