UEFA issued the findings of the Independent Review Panel chaired by Dr. Brando Rodrigues, which reviewed the events surrounding the Champions League Final played in Paris on May 28, 2022, on February 13, 2023.
It was commissioned on May 30, 2022, and was based on interviews and statements from several witnesses and significant stakeholders, including supporters of the playing clubs.
The study includes: - crucial lessons learned regarding how the Final's organization may have been improved; and - helpful recommendations for future events to ensure a better fan experience and safety.
