Ile-Ife, Nigeria – On Monday evening, a church in Ile-Ife, Osun State, was tragically struck when an assistant pastor murdered the head pastor following their service.
A deadly altercation
Most Superior Evangelist Olagbaju Moris Gbade Fadehan, pastor of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Grace of Comfort parish, was stabbed to death by his assistant, Evangelist Olalekan Ogundipe, after a disagreement turned violent.
Conflict Turns Deadly
According to reports, the two men had a physical altercation inside the church after their service concluded. During the altercation, Ogundipe stabbed Fadehan and killed him on the spot.
Shocking Murder
In a horrific turn of events, Ogundipe is accused of setting fire to the deceased pastor's body with his clerical robes as an accelerant.
Suspect apprehended
